In April 2008, Raindrops to Refuge teamed up with the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge for the 15th Annual Clean Water Festival for Kids at Portland Community College . Six classes of fourth and fifth graders participated in our very own Watershed Jeopardy game, which tested their watershed knowledge and taught new environmental concepts. Each class expressed keen interest and concern for their watersheds, and they impressed the presenters with their watershed knowledge. Teachers were rewarded for their efforts and students had big fun. Everyone took home a souvenir. Winning teams received large colorful posters for their classroom.
