Fundraising House Party
Raindrops to Refuge hosted its first fundraising house party in June 2008. The event featured Salmon Safe wines from three local vineyards, a variety of decadent deserts, a tour of a recently restored wetland on the property, and a brief talk by Board President, Ron Garst and Director, Lisa Jo Frech. Attendees shared stories about what Sherwood's natural areas mean to them, learned about the resources available for completing a wetland restoration on their own property, and made generous contributions in support of R2R and its mission.
