Volunteer Request
We cannot succeed in carrying out our mission without the gracious assistance of volunteers. We can show up at the office, find funds, and talk to folks on the street, but when it comes to the work in the field, on the ground, near the creeks we all love and appreciate, the restoration and conservation, and also the monitoring and assessment, isn't going to happen without a cadre of caring folks who will take a few hours of their time on a Saturday to pitch in. When you're out in the field with R2R, you'll probably get a little dirty, but you'll definitely make a huge difference in the health of a watershed in just a few hours.

That said there are also plenty of opportunities to work in the office with mailings and filing, with a particular project in our work plan that excites you, or with a fundraising house party.

We can write letters documenting Community Service Hours for teenagers. We can partner with your group for a tree planting in Sherwood. We can use your donated hours to get more funds from a private foundation who'd like to support our cause. The list goes on. So please, especially if you can't make a financial donation to R2R, consider volunteering with us. We promise fun AND gratification.
